The Eyes of the Sun have Grown Old.

by

Uzma Sadaf

The big ball of the sun,
Is slowly going away from us to its destination,
Sometimes it seems, that now the eyes of the sun,
Have grown old, and it is patching up its luggage lazily,
Now it has begun avoiding us,
Now the sun seems to be disgusted,
These clouds of the smoke,
These bloody corpses of human beings,
Man has been ground and shaped like the grains of sand,
In such a condition, how should I look to the mirror,
The big ball of the sun, bending its heads,
Is peeping in the waters,
The universe is fed up with us,
We are wandering on the other side of the horizon,
And all good for nothing,
The earth also seems to be disconnected from us,
And the sun is saying,
Now all this game is coming to an end.
