Those Are The Different People

by

Uzma Sadaf

What is life, a dim writing

Different from inside and outside

Hidden under many covers

Many paths within one path

And we the travelers of unmarked ways

Knowing very little of life

And the magic of love

This love gives life new direction every moment

Gives it new destination every time

But where do we love truly

We make business only

Some times of the trust

Some times we change our selves into idolatry

We don’t make the real journey

We give only a drop of our tears

Far away from the sea

That drop which is hanging on a withered leaf

A drop without any name

We don’t love sincerely

We make business only

If we give something that is only to take something

We get interests on our love

We receive prices for that

We take many loves in return of one

We don’t become obsessed

Those are different people

Who change their bodies into dust

And their breaths the grains of sand

Those who obliterate themselves

To enliven others

Those are different people.
