Without You!
by
Uzma Sadaf

God knows where are you
I don’t know at all
But I know only this
That without you
I am a shell without a pearl
When the pearl is removed
The shell has no value
Like the sand on the shores
People come, children play
And then the sands is left on shores
And the shells are broken
Or they are scattered
Or they pass their whole life
In the hope of having some pearl
I know only this
That my inner self has become empty
There is no colour
That rosy colour, and the softness
Have all disappeared
And I don’t know where to find you!
